The Bitcoin Academy was found by Chris Plow.

After spending 7 years in the investment banking industry, followed by 5 years building and scaling a wellness business, Chris decided to go 'all-in' on Bitcoin.

He had been studying and buying Bitcoin since 2018, and then March 2020 happened. Countries around the world went into 'lockdown' and central banks announced 'infinite quantitative easing' i.e. money printing.

Chris's study of economics and economic history helped him realise that this would have disastrous consequences on the global economy, and on the purchasing power of fiat currencies.

He realised that all roads lead to Bitcoin. Afterall, if the money is broken because they can print unlimited amounts, the answer is surely a money with no state interference and an absolute supply cap.
