Within classes I use provide minimal technical instructions as the objective is not for women to be able to perform the movements perfectly, but rather for them to discover the kinds of movements that will make them feel safe.

Empowered by Choice
I fundamentally understand that women that have experienced violence and trauma need to feel safe and in charge of their bodies. Therefore I have a strong focus on invitational language.

Understanding
I have a working understanding of trauma. Participants can feel comfortable knowing that there will be no shame, or even surprise from me if they are triggered, dissociate, freeze or leave their window of tolerance.

Services I Offer

8 week Group Program
Hi Lovely! I can't wait to show what your amazing body is capable of! In this program you'll be invited to experiment with various kickboxing movements at a pace that feels safe for you. No previous experience or fitness level is necessary. Groups are capped at 4 women to ensure so I can work closely with each of you. In this program, we will explore:
- Enlivening the muscles your body wants to use to fight back
- Gradually raising your heart rate
- Using breath to slow your heart rate and manage emotions
- Grounding
- Experimenting with aggressive movements
Private Training
If joining a group feels too intimidating for you right now or you want to work with me 1 on 1 for any other reason. Private training is a great way to get started on your kickboxing journey.
