Hello! I'm Georgia - Exercise Scientist, Black Belt, Athlete, Podcaster and Trauma Informed Kickboxing Facilitator.

I started karate when I was 12. I earned my black belt when I was 20. When I was 22 I started Muay Thai - Thai Kickboxing and I've had 5 professional fights. I hate running, I suck at ball sports, and I LOVE how powerful I feel when I'm doing martial arts.

My love of combat sports lead me to complete a bachelors degree in exercise science. I've been working in the fitness industry for the past 7 years and I have 4 years experience as a clinical exercise scientist at Kieser (https://www.kieser.com.au/).

Over the past 13 years I have heard countless friends say that "martial arts saved them".

By learning to fight, we learn to be fully present in our bodies and our lives.

I have always known that the path to learning to fight is the path to empowerment and enlightenment. When a psychologist suggested to me that I could help women with PTSD by teaching them kickboxing I discovered a pile of research proving that my childhood intuition was correct.

Drawing upon this research, my experience and collaborating with psychologists, I developed The Fight Back Project. I am passionate about connecting women that have suffered trauma to their bodies through kickboxing.I believe that every woman should learn to fight - especially those that are afraid of their bodies and the world.

I have a love/hate relationship with outdoor rock climbing which I do to push me to the edge of my Window of Tolerance - personal growth happens when you're super scared - right?!

I love walking my dog out in nature, exploring Australia and the World, playing the saxophone and baking. Hit me up for healthy dessert recipes - I have a major sweet tooth but I know my mind and body work best when they're well nourished.
