About Ann
Uniquely placed to help Accounting professionals with their English.
I’ve been studying, working, and living in the UK since 1998. (Born and raised in South Africa).
I received an MA in Education and am CELTA qualified through Cambridge.
I have traveled extensively and lived, worked, volunteered and taught in Thailand and Cambodia for over three years. I have also coached English on a professional level to accounting and business professionals from all around the world, including Italy, Belgium, Serbia, Poland, China, Japan and many more.
So I know the challenges of learning and speaking other languages and how language is connected with culture.
Prior to my travels, I spent the best part of 30 years in accounting; in accounting companies, my own business as well as in a training capacity.
I recognise the commitment and dedication it takes to be a good accounting professional and the stresses they undergo to remain professional and proficient at their jobs.
I would love to be able to help you. Please reach out if you would like to see how I can get you to the next level.

I really enjoyed this program. I had the chance to learn plenty of up-to-date, relevant and vital matters related to business English such as cultural awareness and accounting vocabulary, as well as general English in the shape of pronunciation and speaking. The structure of the program was useful, well-prepared and interesting. I am going to review all of the sessions over and over again. Thank you, Ann!
